It was amazing

5* review from Nicole Emerald Book Reviews------>
Even after reading the blurb for this book, it still didn't fully prepare me for the unexpected roller-coaster ride of vengeance, redemption, forgiveness and love. Done Running was a superbly written novel from beginning to end, where the characters are varied, flawed and very real. Our main heroine Porsha/Angela was a complete contradiction, beautiful and strong, but full of anger and hurt, with confusion and a bone-deep weariness transforming her after tragedy strikes the very heart of her. I loved every scene she was a part of, as we got to see a multitude of sides to her, how she interacted with family and especially Parker, the one man that she manages to loathe with every fibre of her being, and the one man that she can't seem to shake off, both physically and emotionally. Hounding her every step and stalking her thoughts.
'Parker wondered if she had meant to kill him, but missed. He dashed that thought; he recalled she had presented an even bigger knife to slice the bag strap with. No, she didn't want to kill him. She wanted him alive and hating life and that's what he was doing. He wanted nothing more than to inflict a pain of his own on her.'
Parker's character was wonderful. Viewed and judged as a womaniser, with little to no morals.... Go to the rest of Nicole's amazing review.
DONE RUNNING " Emotional, flawed characters, redemption, strength and forgiveness. Porsha has so much that she is dealing with and the craziness of the situations comes through elegantly."

"I loved the interaction between King and Meagan and how King shows his feelings toward Meagan who secretly feels the same. I'm glad the story ended how it did. A lovely ending for a fantastic story."
