Writing isn't hard. Everything leading up to it is, though. To write interesting, believable fiction, you must endure life and all it's craziness; the excitement of accomplishment, the joy of birth, the sorrow of loss, the ecstasy and pain of love... just to name a few.
When you've navigated these waters and your soul harbors the memories - that's your well. Back to writing; we dip into that well - deeply- every so often, to crystallize a character which in turn magnetizes the reader. This brings me to my story, What Matter Most. The protagonist is a young widow still somewhat unsure about what love is. Adding to that, she is fraught with the loss of loved ones to the extent that she attributes their persons to the things they gave her. She loves her heirlooms with a passion. Then they get stolen from her in a violent robbery. Yes, she grieves and cries. Then she prepares for the battle to bring them home. Very satisfying to say the least.

DONE RUNNING " Emotional, flawed characters, redemption, strength and forgiveness. Porsha has so much that she is dealing with and the craziness of the situations comes through elegantly."

"I loved the interaction between King and Meagan and how King shows his feelings toward Meagan who secretly feels the same. I'm glad the story ended how it did. A lovely ending for a fantastic story."
